Sunday 13 April Almondsbury v Coalpit Heath
 
Result - Almondsbury 1 : Coalpit Heath 6
 
Coalpit Heath put in another brilliant performance against a tough Almondsbury side,  with Tom Ruff and Sam Giles in dominant form at the back Heath were always on the front foot.  Nathan Lloyd got a first half brace, first driving in from an acute angle then taking a pass from Ashton Coleman to fire home.  The second half started with Conor Heal and Brad Simons taking control of mid-field which allowed a lively Coleman to curl a beauty in from 20 yards to make it 3 - 0.  Almondsbury got a goal back before Lloyd completed his deserved hat trick beating the offside trap and finding the corner of the net.  Man of the Match Simons got Heaths 5th with a superb chip over the advancing keeper.  Coalpit Heaths best and final goal started with Sam Fisher playing a lovely pass into Lloyd who turned and found Harley Nethercott running through the middle, the striker coolly went round the keeper and fired home.

Sunday 6 April Coalpit Heath v Ingleside
 
Result - Coalpit Heath 8 : Ingleside 0
 
Coalpit Heath put in a superb performance and scored 8 quality goals against a determined Ingleside.  Nathan Lloyd opened the scoring latching on to a Brad Simons pass to chip over the advancing keeper, minutes later Lloyd was on the score sheet again firing home at the near post.  Just before half time Lloyd played the ball over to his strike partner Harley Nethercott who hit home a brilliant volley.  Early in the second half Nethercott got his second goal chipping over the keeper,  Ashton Coleman having another fine game cut in and smashed home the fifth before Nethercott got his deserved hat trick with a great left foot strike.  With the defence in great form Heath continued to dominate and Coleman got his second with a superb lob over the keeper from the edge of the box.  Lloyd went on a brilliant run and put over a cross for Hayden Watkins to crack home the final goal.

Sunday 9 March Coalpit Heath B v Keynsham B

Result - Coalpit Heath 2 : Keynsham 0

Harley Nethercott was Coalpit Heath 2 goal hero in a hard fought win over tough opposition.  Playing with the wind Heath took an early lead when Will Butters lifted the ball into the box for Nethercott to spin away from his marker and fire home a left foot strike.  Then just before half time Nathan Lloyd made a fine run down the wing and put over a superb cross, Ashton Coleman controlled the ball before laying it off to Nethercott to hit a stunning strike into the roof  of the net.
 
Playing with the wind in the second half Keynsham dominated, it took resolute defending from Max Southway and Sam Giles and some fine saves from keeper Tim to keep the visitors at bay.

Sunday 2 March Avon Athletic B v Coalpit Heath B

Result - Avon Athletic 1 : Coalpit Heath 3

Coalpit Heath put in a superb performance to win a tough game against a strong Avon Athletic side.  
 
Conor Heal opened the scoring smashing home a penalty after he was pushed in the box.  The hosts put Heath under immense pressure but  Sam Fisher and Sam Giles held strong at the back.  Playing on the counter attack Heath were looking dangerous with the lively Ashton Coleman attacking well on the flanks.  Early in the second half Heath got their second when a weak clearance by the Avon keeper allowed Harley Nethercott to fire home.  With Tom Ruff and Max Southway in commanding form and Heal and Simons controlling mid-field Heath got on top.
 
Nethercott won the ball on the edge of the box and squared for Nathan Lloyd to crash home number 3.  Avon rallied and got a deserved goal through an unfortunate own goal.

Sunday 17 February Dings Hill United v Coalpit Heath

Result - Dings Hill United 1 : Coalpit Heath 18

Coalpit Heath went goal crazy as they put a struggling Dings to the sword.
 
Harley Nethercott got the ball rolling with 2 quick strikes before Conor heal got in on the act with 2 great shots.  Two goals from Brad Simons and a quick fire hat trick from Ashton Coleman took the tally to 9 at half time.  The second half was more of the same, Nathan Lloyd smashed home 4 goals, Simons added 2 more and the Man of the Match Coleman scored his 4th and 5th of the game.  Nethercott finished the scoring off to notch up his well deserved hat trick to complete the rout.  Dings scored a consolation through Stefan Jewell.

Sunday 10 February Coalpit Heath B v Yate United B

Result - Coalpit Heath 3 : Yate United 2

Coalpit Heath came out on top in a local derby thriller that went right to the wire.

Yate took an early lead from a good goal from Alex Lee.  Although Coalpit Heath dominated with Harley Nethercott and Ashton Coleman going close, Yate increased their lead, keeper Tim Davis made a fine save only for Daniel Purchase to score from the rebound.
 
Heath got a lifeline when Nethercott put a superb through ball for Nathan Lloyd to strike home low into the corner.  Early in the second half Heath were awarded a penalty for hand ball and Conor Heal fired home the equaliser from the spot.  With both teams now going for the win, Heaths Man of the Match Tom Ruff and Max Southway stood firm in defense and with Hayden Watkins attacking down the flanks Heath got on top.  Then in the final minute Nethercott broke into the Yate box, passed to Brad Simons who rolled the ball off to Heal who struck a brilliant winner.

Sunday December 16 Ashton Boys B v Coalpit Heath B

Result - Ashton Boys 1 : Coalpit Heath 5

Coalpit Heath had a great away win in their last game of 2007.
 
Nathan Lloyd went close 3 times in the early stages before Brad Simons burst through from half way to fire into the bottom corner to give Heath the lead.  The visitors continued to press forward and Lloyd was again denied by an inspired Ashton keeper. 
 
Early in the second period Heath had a second goal when Lloyd finally found the net with a fierce strike, Conor Heal who controlled the midfield beat the offside trap to race through and fire home the third before Ashton got back into the game with a goal from Charlie Green.
 
Will Butters having another fine game played a ball through for Ashton Coleman to run onto and score Heaths fourth with a cracking shot into the net.  Lloyd won a tackle from the edge of the box and slipped a superb ball through to Simons to wrap up the scoring with a low acute angled drive, with Man of the Match Max Southway and Tim Davies defending well and keeper Tom Ruff in fine form Heath go into Christmas full of cheer.

Sunday November 25 Coalpit Heath B v Hanham Athletic Youth

Result - Coalpit Heath 3 : Hanham 2

Coalpit Heath made hard work of beating a spirited Hanham team.  The host went a goal down when Josh Langdon finished well, but they bounced back immediately when Brad Simons fired home from a Harley Nethercott through ball.  Heath kept attacking but found the Hanham keeper on fine form.
 
The second half started with both teams going for goal, Conor Heal and Simons were put through from Ashton Coleman passes but both missed the target.  Hanham regained the lead breaking away for Kieran Summers to fire home.
 
Heath pushed men forward and got a deserved equaliser when Sam Fisher fed Nethercott who struck a beauty from the edge of the box.  With 5 minutes remaining Heath keeper Tim Davies pulled off a brilliant save which seemed to inspire his team, Man of the Match Will Butters ran down the wing passed the ball to Heal who cut in and hit a superb winner into the roof of the net.

Sunday November 18 Keynsham B v Coalpit Heath B
 
Result - Keynsham 1 : Coalpit Heath 7
 
Coalpit Heath put in their best performance of the season with a superb win over a tough Keynsham side.  Nathan Lloyd got the opener, breaking clear and finishing in style after early pressure but Keynsham struck back with a fine strike from Joshua Cottrell.
 
In heavy rain and wind Heath then took control of the first half, Ashton Coleman having a brilliant game on the wing cut in to score his first goal for the club and Lloyd scored a fine individual second for a 3- 1 half time lead.
 
The second half began with Heath again playing great attacking football.  With the defence on form and stopping any hosts attacks the midfield got forward and Conor Heal struck a brilliant fourth goal.  The fifth and best goal soon followed, Max Southway won a tackle and passed to Brad Simons who ran down the wing beating 3 defenders before cutting the ball across the goal for Coleman to fire home his second goal.  Hayden Watkins and Harley Nethercott got on the score sheet with two superb strikes from the edge of the box to seal a brilliant team victory.

Sunday November 11 Coalpit Heath v Avon Athletic B

Result - Coalpit Heath 2 : Avon Athletic 4

Coalpit Heath lost their 100% home record going down to a strong Avon side, the hosts found themselves 2 - 0 down early in the game but responded well when Harley Nethercott scraped the post with a firm shot but made amends moments later with a angeled shot from a Conor Heal free kick.
 
Heath had chances to equalise but Nathan Lloyd found the side netting and the Avon keeper on top form, Avon scored 2 more goals in the second half before Heath rallied late on and Lloyd got his reward by firing in the second goal.  Although Heath put the visitors under pressure they counldn't break down a good Avon defence

Sunday October 21 Yate United B v Coalpit Heath B
 
Result - Yate 2 : Coalpit Heath 2
 
In an entertaining derby Yate and Coalpit Heath took a share of the spoils.
 
Yate opened the scoring when Brandon Snary crashed home a shot from an early corner.  After putting the home defence under pressure Coalpit Heath equalised when Conor Heal's corner took a deflection and curled into the corner of the net.  Both teams played attacking football and Ashton Coleman and Sam Giles defended solidly for Coalpit Heath.
 
As half time approached Nathan Lloyd picked the ball up on half way and went on a superb run beating 4 defenders before brilliantly finding the bottom corner of the net to glue Coalpit Heath a 2 -1 lead.
 
The second half was a close affair with both teams having chances.  Hayden Watkins almost increased Coalpit Heath's lead but Yate cleared the ball off the line.  Sam May curled a lovely equaliser for Yate that Coalpit Heath keeper Tom Ruff cleared with his feet.
 
Both teams went for the winner but the game finished a deserved and fair result with credit to both teams for a good spirited and exciting game.

Sunday October 14 Coalpit Heath v Avonmouth FC

Result - Coalpit Heath 4 : Avonmouth FC 3

In a brilliant top of the table clash Coalpit Heath came back to win in a nail biting finale.  Going into the game both teams had 100% records and it started at a furious pace.  Coalpit Heath broke the deadlock on 5 minutes when Max Southway won a tackle and fed to Brad Simons who put a superb pass down the line, Nathan Lloyd the cut in and found the bottom corner with a crisp drive.
 
Avonmouth then got on top and had Coalpit Heath on the back foot, they equalised on 20 minutes through Charlie Parker and went into half time on level terms.  The second half continued in familiar fashion with Avonmouth pressing but resolute defending from Tom Ruff and strong midfield from Hayden Watkins kept it tight.  A hand ball in the box allowed Conor Heal to smash home the penalty to restore the lead, but it was short lived as Avonmouth stormed back with two quick goals from Luke French for a 3-2 lead.
 
With 5 minutes left another hand ball on the edge of the box allowed Coalpit Heath the chance to equalise.  Again Heal stepped up and drove an unstoppable free kick into the roof of the net to make it 3-3.  As time was almost up Coalpit Heath won a corner, Heal floated it over and as it came out of the area Watkins lashed a beauty from 20 yards into the top corner of the net for an unlikely but fantastic victory.

Sunday September 30 Coalpit Heath v Fry Club Wanderers

Result - Coalpit Heath 5 : Fry Club Wanderers 0

Coalpit Heath B team made it 3 wins out of 3 with a superb performance at the Manor against Fry Club Wanderers.

Early sustained pressure paid off when Conor Heal curled a 20 yard beauty into the bottom corner. After an excellent passing movement Sam Giles put Harley Nethercott through to confidently slide the ball under the advancing keeper.

In the second half Frys keeper saved brilliantly from a Heal penalty, but Heath weren't to be denied a 3rd when Nethercott slid the ball through to Brad Simons to crash an unstoppable effort into the net. Nethercott dribbled through the defence for number 4 before Nathan Lloyd got his reward for brilliant forward play by smashing the ball home for number 5. Tim Davis pulled off two good saves to keep a clean sheet, while Tom Ruff and Max Southway marshaled the defence superbly.

Man of the match: Sam Fisher.

Sunday September 23 Ingleside v Coalpit Heath B

Result - Ingleside 1 : Coalpit Heath 3

Coalpit Heath played their first away game of the season against Ingleside and came away with a fine 3 -1 victory.  Attacking play early in the game resulted in the first goal as Harley Nethercott cut in from the left and hit an angled shot low into the net.  A superb ball over the defence from Conor Heal allowed Nathan Lloyd to run through and smash the ball into the roof of the net for 2 -0.  Just before half time Hayden Watkins went on a mazy run down the right, cut in and drove a brilliant shot to make it 3 -0.
 
Many chances went begging in the second period with Nethercott and Will Butters both hitting the woodwork.  Ingleside pulled 1 back with 5 minutes to go but strong defence from Sam Fisher, Kieran Clarke and Milo Cridge made the game safe.
 


Sunday September 9 Coalpit Heath B v Ashton Boys B

Result - Coalpit Heath 3 : Ashton 0

Coalpit Heath made a fine start to their season with a superb 3-0 win over Ashton at the Manor.  Early first half pressure paid off when Nathan Lloyd sprinted clear of the defence to be brought down in the box.  Conor Heal smashed the resulting penalty into the top of the net.  Solid defence from Max Southway and Brad Simons and a fantastic save from Tom Ruff kept the score 1-0 at half time.  At the mid-point of the second half, a chip into the box from Heal fell to the feet of Harley Nethercott, who turned and struck the ball low into the corner of the net.  He made the game safe when Will Butters laid the ball off to Lloyd on the edge of the box to strike a beauty into the top corner.
